What better time to talk about sustainability and progress, then now? This year our featured presentations highlight efforts of WCU faculty and students who are engaged in projects related to sustainability and progress. Using the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a dynamic guide to the meaning of sustainability and progress, we are examining issues, holding conversations, and showcasing academic work that demonstrates living more sustainably while achieving economic, social, political, and environmental progress.

The 2021 Featured Presentation Competition accepted abstracts and artist statements for consideration in three thematic areas based on the UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS).
