The Coulter Faculty Commons is offering a unique professional development opportunity this December.

Are you planning a course you have never taught before, or planning to make major revisions to a current or former course?

You will do:

    • Mapping assessments to fit learning goals and course content
    • Fine-tuning effective assignment descriptions
    • Devising course policies
    • Communicating course expectations
    • Evaluating how AI does or does not fit into your course.

You will get:

A roadmap for designing a course with meaningful learning experiences

    • Time to outline each element
    • Immediate feedback from facilitators and colleagues
    • Coffee & lunch

You will leave with:

    • A solid draft of your syllabus & course information document.

This two-day intensive is conveniently scheduled for the week after finals, so you can actually get some rest during winter break.
