Design an invention to help a fictional character(s) solve a problem she/he encounters in the novel.

A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron

The conflict encountered was that the puppy had to live with his owner’s father, who didn’t like dogs, because his owner wasn’t allowed to have pets in her apartment. After a while, the father took the puppy and abandoned it on the side of the road.

My invention can help solve this problem by giving the puppy somewhere to sleep and hide so the dog catchers wouldn’t find him. In placement with the story, the dog house I created would most likely be hidden in the trees behind the park the puppy is found in.
