Book Summary: The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate
The One And Only Ivan is about a silverback gorilla who lost his family to poachers. He was adopted by a man named Mack, who ran a big top mall. Soon after Mack’s wife, Helen left Mack, Mack put Ivan in a cage in the big top mall for visitors to observe. Ivan had two friends a dog named Bob and an elephant named Stella. When Stella passes away a new elephant Ruby arrives to replace Stella. Ruby is a young elephant that needs to be set free. So Ivan tries to give Ruby a better life other than being stuck in a circus. Ivan then has to give Ruby a place she can call home.

What a great book to use for this challenge! I like that you chose to create a commercial as a call to action. Taking a stand for innocent animals is an important issue to address. I feel like social media can help make a difference. Good work.
