This is a story of three young people in countries torn by prejudice and dictatorship. Each character is from a different time period and situation of persecution.  Joseph is escaping from Nazi Germany, Muhammad is escaping from Syria, and Isabel is escaping from Cuba. Each is experiencing persecution due to race or religion. Our focus us Isabel. Isabel and her family are escaping Cuba because of its ruthless leader,Fidel Castro.  They are escaping with Isabel’s friend’s family  on their boat. They did not git very far until the police started following them, but they eventually got too far for them to follow. Then they almost got hit by a cruise ship and eventually the engine filled up with water and it stalled, so they had to take turns swimming beside the boat and what they didn’t know that there was sharks in the water.  Sadly,  her friend was killed by a shark. They had to pull him out of the water and his brother shot a shark on the other side of the boat so his brother could at least make it a little bit farther into the water before the sharks would eat him. Then they continued on their way, but isabel’s friend’s mother cried and cried as the boat filled with water. Then they reached one of the Bahamas islands. They tried to get on the island, but they weren’t allowed to. They continued their way to Florida, and then when they got their, the Coast Guard found them and brought them ashore. [

Our machine was created to help a character in the story and help mankind. This machine was originally built to sustain a good engine while going on long water travel,  but where it get its power is miraculous. It gets power from the sea itself! Water is sucked into it to propel it! This is a great invention to help Isabelle and her family cross the horrible waters at night from Cuba to Miami and it could help mankind in the future!
