“A Long Walk to Water”

Summary- “A Long Walk to Water” is about a boy named Salva and this story is based on a true story, in this story Salva was separated from his family during a Civil War in Sudan and had to walk miles to a refuge camp.In this story there is also a little girl named Nya who had to walk for hours and back to get water. Through this tiring journey, Salva and Nya go through many hardships but eventually they find what they need.
Project- The global issue that I’m solving is people not having shelter, along with food, water, and clothes. This solution is more refuge camps all over the world, these refuge camps would have a wooden roof supported with logs to insure shelter and people could work there, passing out food and clothes. There could also be faucets that go underground to get all the water. This way, Salva, Nya, and many other people could get the things they need. For example, Nya would only have to walk a couple minutes to a refuge camp to get water.
