“A Long Walk to Water” by Linda Sue Park , is an intriguing story. First, there was a girl named Nya who had to walk 8 hours every day to get water for her family. There is also a boy named Salva who had to run to the bush away from the war braking out in his country. Soon, something that will help Nya with her having to walk 8 hours every day will come, meanwhile Salva is traveling across countries, crossing rivers and with no family. South Sudan is in a Civil War, Nya can’t go to school and Salva travels thousands of miles. You’ll never see the end coming.
The problem is Nya has to walk 8 hours to find water ,and Salva has to walk across 3 countries and cross The Nile River without a boat. Our project is the solution because ,when the car goes into the water it collects the water in the river,and it is solar powered so they don’t have to worry about fuel.This also helps Salva when he was traveling across three countries without getting so tired and dehydrated , and the Nile Crocodiles can’t kill him or other people.
