The Western Carolina University Police Department is offering free programming that is available for classrooms, residence halls, student groups, and campus departments/organizations.
Officers will speak with your group on topics such as self-defense, drugs/alcohol, how to respond to an active-shooter event, sexual assault risk awareness, and many more. These programs are part of the campus police department’s continued efforts to keep students, faculty, and staff informed and aware about issues around campus. Each presentation runs approximately one hour and can be modified to fit into limited timeframes.
Due to COVID-19, the WCU Police Department is now offering live and pre-recorded Zoom programs. Some hands-on programs are being modified to fit in accordance with social distancing guidelines. Officers can work with you to produce a program that fits your needs.
