The Resources and Development Committee of Staff Senate is pleased to announce that the Staff Senate Professional Development Fund application for the 2025–2026 academic year is open!
Staff Senate is committed to advocating for and making a difference in the work lives of WCU staff members. It is important for staff to have access to professional development opportunities, and we understand that opportunities and funding aren’t always available. The Staff Senate Professional Development Fund was designed to help break that barrier.
Eligible staff and departments can receive up to $500 (for individuals) and $750 (for departments) to participate in professional development activities that align with current roles and/or future career goals. Eligible activities include workshops, seminars, webinars, conferences, trainings, and certificate programs. (Note: Tuition, fees, books, and educational supplies as well as professional organization memberships are not eligible.)
