Problem- Starvation of strays
Solution- A Dog’s Purpose Pet Vending Machine for Stray Animals
Creators- Samantha Packard and Jill Hines, Grover C. Fields Middle School, New Bern, NC
The machines are placed around town and volunteers place food in the food slots with access through a keypad. The air vent releases food smells that appeal to animals. The sensors scan whatever animal comes to the machine and releases food through the food box.Vending Machine
I like that the machine detects what type of animal has approached it in order to deliver the correct food. Very interesting.
