Staff Senate will hold their third meeting of the fiscal year this week!
This month’s meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd at 3:00pm in the University Center Grandroom.
All meetings are open to the public and we welcome staff to attend. Hear directly from Chancellor Brown, Human Resource remarks from Cory Causby, and updates from both the Faculty Senate and SGA representatives. You can also hear from Staff Senate Executive Committee members of happenings and exciting new events coming up soon!
This week we will also welcome Rich Price to update the group on both Community projects like the HWY 107 project. As well as Jackson County specific updates like the new Middle School and the Webster Housing Development. We strongly encourage everyone to attend to hear his presentation.
And for the first time since COVID, we’ll be livestreaming the meeting via zoom. We always encourage other faculty, staff, or students to attend in person, however with Mr. Price’s updates we wanted to make sure that his presentation could be viewed by anyone in the community. The zoom link is located below and is available for viewing only, commenting and the chat feature will be turned off. All senators and external partners are asked to participate in person.
