Staff Senate will hold their seventh meeting of the fiscal year next week!
This month’s meeting will be held on Thursday, February 19th at 3:00pm in the University Center Grandroom.
All meetings are open to the public and we welcome staff to attend. Light refreshments are provided. Hear directly from Chancellor Brown, Human Resource remarks from Cory Causby, and updates from both the Faculty Senate and SGA representatives. You can also hear from Staff Senate Executive Committee members of happenings and exciting new events coming up soon!
This week we will be hear from Dr. Melissa Wargo on Shared Governance and the roles Board of Governors and Board of Trustees hold within the UNC System. We’ll also hear updates from CCSEL and Title IX Advisory Information.
Lastly, after a great success from the fall semester, we’ll be livestreaming the meeting via zoom. We always encourage other faculty, staff, or students to attend in person, however we understand getting out of the office isn’t always feasible. The zoom link is located below and is available for viewing with a Q & A option. All senators and external partners are asked to participate in person.
