The UNC System Office has negotiated a significantly reduced price for campuses to join Academic Impressions (AI). AI is a primarily web-based clearinghouse which provides leadership, personal development, and skills-based training opportunities to faculty and staff in higher ed. There are offerings in areas including advancement, enrollment management, diversity, equity, and inclusion, Title IX, women’s leadership, academic leadership, institutional planning, advancement, faculty success, and others.
The WCU Division of Advancement has covered the cost for all faculty and staff members to access Academic Impressions live sessions, recordings, blogs, and conferences. You can learn more about the offerings through this link.
While most of their offerings are complimenary for members, they do occasionally host multi-day virtual conferences and events. These typically carry a cost. Please click this registration link to create your Academic Impressions account. Once your account is created, you will be able to register for Academic Impressions conferences. Your membership is complimentary through the Division of Advancement’s campus-wide license with Academic Impressions, but any costs related to Academic Impressions professional development of your choosing is the responsibility of the member’s department, college, or division.
