As part of the NC DOT Adopt-A-Highway program, Staff Senate has adopted Old Cullowhee Rd from the intersection of Hwy 107 to Bayside Dr.
Our next roadside litter pickup will be Monday, May 30th 10:00a to 12:00pm.
Any and all staff or faculty are invited to participate! (You can use your Community Service Leave, with appropriate approvals!)
Caravans will leave campus around 9:45am from the Bardo parking lot. Cleanup is expected to take approximately 2 hours.
Please wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty, shoes appropriate for walking a mile, and sun protection such as hat and sunglasses. Vests, gloves and trash bags will be provided. Event open to anyone age 18 and older. Please feel free to share with friends and co-workers who may want to join the effort.
