Staff Senate will be doing a “Meet the Senator” series this academic year, letting all staff know who their Staff Senators are. In the spotlight this week is Stephanie Edwards. Stephanie is the Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Advancement and this is her second year serving on Staff Senate. She is also a member of the Scholarship and Professional Development Committee on Staff Senate. When Stephanie was asked “Why Western?” she stated “Western Carolina University is home. Following in the footsteps of my parents, who both graduated from WCU, I received my undergraduate degree in 2009 and also received my Master’s Degree in 2021 in Project Management. I am thankful to have a meaningful job where the impact of our faculty and staff can be seen in the lives of our students.” Stephanie is such a wonderful addition to Staff Senate and we look forward to working with her more in the future.
