Join us for one final Campus Community Event before Commencement.
Staff Senate, SGA and Faculty Senate are teaming up to help beautify part of HWY 107 that is near the front entrance of campus. Along with Facilities Management, we have partnered up to help clean it up a bit, with the permission of DOT, of course! We are trying to gather a big group of people to help us with these efforts, coming together as a community to help enhance our main entrance to campus.
We will be working on Thursday, May 7th from 7:00am – 10:00am.This event qualifies for using your Community Service Leave! Please ask your supervisor first. The jobs you should expect to be doing are; picking up trash/debris, picking up bush clippings, pulling weeds, or spreading mulch. Facilities will be handling the heavy machinery. Volunteers are asked to wear work boots or sneakers, long pants, and work gloves. Vests will be provided.
