The Student Body Vice President serves as the President of the Senate, presiding over the legislative branch and over the assemblies of the Student Senate. They maintain a functioning Student Senate, appoint new Senators and send approved resolutions to the SGA advisor(s) and Student Body President in a timely manner. 

The Student Body President is a voting delegate to the University of North Carolina Association of Student Governments.

The Parliamentarian is responsible for ensuring that Robert’s Rules of Order are being followed in Senate proceedings and ensure compliance with the Student Government Association’s Constitution and Bylaws.
